Golf Outside Services Staff

Position Summary

The Golf Outside Services Staff plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for maintaining golf carts, managing the cart barn, and supporting driving range operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and committed to providing a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Cart Barn Operations

  • Clean, wash, dry, and sanitize golf carts after each use
  • Inspect carts for damage, safety concerns, and mechanical issues; report concerns promptly
  • Stage carts neatly and efficiently for daily play
  • Ensure carts are fully charged and ready for use and rotate golf carts used to maintain an even usage of all golf carts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn and surrounding areas
  • Assist with fleet inventory and basic upkeep as directed
  • Return any personal belongings left in carts to the golf shop
  • Retrieve stalled or “broken” golf carts from the golf course

Driving Range Operations

  • Pick, wash, and rotate range balls to ensure quality presentation
  • Operate ball retrieval equipment safely and efficiently
  • Keep range tee lines clean and orderly
  • Maintain adequate ball inventory in dispensing units
  • Monitor range conditions and report maintenance concerns

Guest Service

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with loading/unloading golf bags when needed
  • Provide clear directions regarding cart rules and range policies and respond professionally to guest questions
  • Support tournament and event setup as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (must be at least 16 years old)
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Strong attention to detail, dependable and punctual
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Weekend and holiday availability required

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Exposure to outdoor elements including heat, humidity, and rain
